St-Hubert Birthday Freebies & VIP Club Perks: How to Claim Free Meals & Desserts (2026)
Everything you need to know about the St-Hubert VIP email club, free kids' birthday meals (Club des petits poussins), dessert vouchers, and sign-up promo codes.
“Celebrating a birthday in Canada is an annual tradition that should always come with perks. In Quebec and across Eastern Canada, few places host as many multi-generational family birthday gatherings as St-Hubert. From spontaneous dining room renditions of 'Gens du pays' led by enthusiastic servers to chocolate sundaes with sparklers, St-Hubert treats celebrations seriously. But how do you unlock the official freebies, what does the VIP email club offer, and how can parents claim a 100% free kids' meal on their child's special day? Here is your complete 2026 insider guide.”
1. Adult Birthday Perks: Free Signature Desserts & Vouchers
For adult diners, St-Hubert delivers birthday perks through its digital VIP Club (Infocourriel).
When your birthdate arrives, St-Hubert sends an exclusive birthday voucher directly to your email inbox. The typical reward is a Complimentary Signature Dessert with the purchase of any adult rotisserie entrée.
You can choose from St-Hubert's beloved dessert repertoire, including: Warm Quebec Sugar Pie (Tarte au sucre) topped with whipped cream, traditional Mille-Feuille with layered puff pastry and vanilla custard, or decadent Hot Fudge Brownie sundaes. Depending on current promotional cycles, some accounts receive a $5 or $10 voucher off an order of $30 or more.
Pro Birthday Tip
Even if you forget your coupon, mention your birthday to your dining room server when being seated! St-Hubert waitstaff frequently bring out a complimentary slice of cake or ice cream with a candle, and dining room servers will happily lead the table in a celebratory cheer.
2. Kids' Birthday Club: Free Kids' Meals (Club des petits poussins)
While adult rewards focus on desserts, St-Hubert's program for children is extraordinarily generous. Through the long-running 'Club des petits poussins' (Little Chicks Club), children aged 12 and under receive a 100% FREE Kids' Meal coupon during their birthday month.
The free meal coupon covers an entire children's dinner, which includes:
• Entrée: Rotisserie chicken drumstick, animal-shaped crispy chicken nuggets, or mini poutine.
• Side & Drink: Choice of golden fries or veggies, plus milk, juice, or fountain beverage.
• Dessert & Toy: Choice of ice cream cup and a fun collectible surprise toy.
• Dining Room Fun: In restaurant dining rooms, birthday children receive a festive paper crown, animated coloring sheets, and free tokens for the on-site arcade game room.
3. Step-by-Step Registration & Timing Guide
Follow these steps to ensure you and your children receive your birthday vouchers without delay:
Step 1: Visit st-hubert.com or download the official St-Hubert mobile app on iOS or Android.
Step 2: Create a free customer account and opt-in to the St-Hubert VIP newsletter (Infocourriel).
Step 3: Enter your exact birthdate under your user profile settings. If you have children, add their names and birthdates under the 'Family / Club des petits poussins' section.
Step 4: Check your email 7 to 10 days before your birthday. The email will contain your unique alphanumeric barcode or promo code.

4. Redemption Rules, Validity Window & Exclusions
To avoid disappointment when paying your bill, keep these verified policies in mind:
• Validity Window: Birthday vouchers are generally valid for 14 to 30 days from the date of email delivery. Always check the expiration date indicated on the voucher.
• Ordering Channels: Valid for dine-in dining rooms, takeout counters, or direct online ordering at st-hubert.com. Third-party apps like UberEats, DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes CANNOT redeem St-Hubert promo codes.
• Non-Combinable: You cannot stack your birthday coupon with Tuesday chicken leg specials, senior 15% discounts, or Holiday meal bundles.
• ID Verification: While servers rarely ask children for ID, adults may occasionally be asked to show a driver's license or photo ID matching the birthdate on the coupon.

7. The Final Birthday Value Verdict
If you have children aged 12 and under, registering for St-Hubert's 'Club des petits poussins' is an absolute must-do—a completely free chicken dinner and surprise toy makes family celebrations affordable and memorable.
For adults, while St-Hubert doesn't hand out free full rotisserie platters like Denny's does with breakfast, pairing a free warm sugar pie or $10 voucher with an authentic Montreal chicken dinner remains one of Canada's most comforting ways to ring in another year.
The Final Scorecard: St-Hubert Birthday Program
With an overall score of 8.9 / 10, St-Hubert earns high marks for Canadian family celebrations. A 100% free kids' meal and complimentary decadent desserts make signing up for the VIP club well worth the 2 minutes of effort.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you get a free meal on your birthday at St-Hubert?
For children aged 12 and under registered in the 'Club des petits poussins', yes—parents receive a coupon for a 100% free Kids' Meal (repas enfant). For adults, St-Hubert does not offer a free full entrée, but provides registered VIP members with a coupon for a free dessert (like warm sugar pie) or a $5 to $10 discount voucher on their birthday meal.
How far in advance must I register to receive my St-Hubert birthday voucher?
You must register on the official St-Hubert website or mobile app at least 14 to 30 days prior to your birthdate. Because automated marketing batches are triggered early in your birthday month, signing up the day before will not generate your coupon in time.
Can I redeem my birthday coupon on third-party apps like UberEats or DoorDash?
No. St-Hubert birthday coupons, promo codes, and VIP vouchers are only valid for dine-in dining room service, phone takeout, or direct orders placed through the official St-Hubert app and st-hubert.com. Third-party delivery aggregators do not honor restaurant loyalty vouchers.
How long is the St-Hubert birthday reward valid?
St-Hubert birthday vouchers are typically valid for approximately 14 to 30 days, starting on your birthday or the beginning of your birthday month. The exact expiration date is clearly printed on the email voucher.
Can I combine my birthday reward with Tuesday chicken specials?
Generally, no. St-Hubert promotional policies state that birthday vouchers and VIP discount codes cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions, such as Tuesday 2-for-1 deals, senior discounts, or holiday bundle packages.
